Refund policy

We want you to love what you ordered from HOUSE OF PREET. If something is not right, you can request a return or an exchange within 7 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

Unboxing video is mandatory

Please record a clear, continuous and unedited video while opening your parcel. The video must start with the sealed package and its shipping label visible, and show the package being opened and every item taken out.

This video is required for every claim of a damaged, defective, wrong or missing item. Claims of this kind made without an unboxing video will not be accepted.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be:

  • unworn, unwashed and unaltered;
  • free of stains, perfume, deodorant or make-up marks;
  • returned with all original tags attached and in its original packaging; and
  • accompanied by the invoice or order number.

Every returned item goes through a quality check. Items that do not meet these conditions will be sent back to you and no refund or exchange will be issued.

How to request a return or exchange

  • Write to us at houseofpreet.co@gmail.com or call / WhatsApp +91 77982 88884 within 7 days of delivery.
  • Share your order number, the item, the reason for the request, and your unboxing video and photos where relevant.
  • We will review your request and reply within 2 business days with an approval and return instructions.

Items sent back to us without an approved return request will not be accepted.

Approved returns must be sent to: PREET CREATION (HOUSE OF PREET), Ground Floor, Block No. 1 & 2, NDTA Complex, Opposite Liberty Cinema, Sadar, Nagpur – 440001, Maharashtra, India.

Return shipping costs

  • Our mistake: if you received a damaged, defective or wrong item, HOUSE OF PREET bears the return shipping cost. We will arrange a pickup or reimburse the reasonable courier charge.
  • Other reasons: for returns or exchanges due to size, fit, colour preference or change of mind, the return shipping cost is borne by the customer. Please use a trackable courier service, as we cannot take responsibility for parcels lost on the way back to us.

Exchanges

Exchanges are offered for a different size or for another item of equal or higher value, subject to stock availability. If the item you want is not available, we will issue a refund as described below. Exchanged items are shipped to you free of charge within India.

Non-returnable items

We cannot accept returns or exchanges for:

  • custom-made, made-to-measure or altered garments;
  • items bought on sale or with a discount, which are final sale;
  • gift cards;
  • items that have been worn, washed, altered or damaged after delivery; and
  • items marked as non-returnable on the product page.

Slight variations in colour, print, weave or embroidery are natural in handcrafted and dyed fabrics, and colours can look different on different screens. These variations are not defects.

Refunds

Once your return reaches us, we will inspect it within 3 business days and let you know whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7 business days. Your bank or card provider may take a further 5 to 7 business days to show the credit in your account.

Order cancellations

You can cancel an order for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled, but you may request a return under this policy after delivery. Custom-made and alteration orders cannot be cancelled once work on them has started.

International orders

Orders delivered outside India can be returned or exchanged only if the item is damaged, defective or wrong. International shipping charges, customs duties and taxes are non-refundable unless the return is due to our mistake.

If the consumer protection law of your country gives you additional rights that cannot be excluded, such as a statutory withdrawal period, those rights apply in addition to this policy.
